To my Soul sister 17 years and 6 months ago was when God decided I needed to meet my soul sister. Ivonne’s first friend in America, we met when I was in 5th grade and I was so excited to have a Ugandan friend my age. We stayed close all throughout our teenage years and continued to stay friends in our adulthood. I’m very excited to stand next to Ivonne as she enters this next chapter of life. Hi! My name is Edie-Maya Hudson and I am one of Ivonne's bridesmaids. Ivonne and I met a few years ago at a fashion event in Boston and even from then I could tell she was an amazing person. That day she was so outgoing and talked to me like we had known each other forever. She is kind, thoughtful and is always taking care of those she loves (especially when she’s hosting an event haha).
